Spanish Degree at Universidad Complutense Madrid.
Film Studies and Doctor in Columbia University (New York, 2004).
She has been professor in Universities in Germany, USA and Spain.
Between 2005 and 2009 directed the Stockholm Cervantes Institute and the Spansk Filmfestival (Spanish films Festival) in Stockholm.
Writer of several novels like “SUEÑOS ITINERANTES” (Seix Barral, 2004), “WARLA ALKMAN” (Edhasa, 2013), and “ARTISTA Y CRIMINAL” (Castalia 2011). Since 2004 she published several short stories, magazine articles and interviews. Contributor and Film Critic in Culturamas and El Cotidiano magazines.
Founder of Storylines Projects production company. She wrote, directed and produced the short films: JAISALMER, REBER’S BACKSTAGE, MIGRACIONES y TIME. All of them received prestigious national and international awards. She also composes the music for almost all her movies and is part of the musical group REBER.
She lives since 2012 in USA where she teaches cinema and literature.
