He has a Degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University. He began his professional career working in the direction team of films such as “La mala educación” y “Hable con ella” by Pedro Almodovar, “El espinazo del diablo” by Guillermo del Toro or “Moulin Rouge” by Baz Lhurman. As a director he has made six fiction short films and a documentary. Among them is “La guerra” which was nominated for the Goya award in 2006 and won more than 50 awards around the world and “Nuevos tiempos” nominated for the Goya award in 2012. In 2014 he premiered his first feature film as director: ‘Mindscape’ starring Mark Strong, Taissa Farmiga and Brian Cox. He was nominated for Goya award for best new director in 2014 and he premiered in the USA, Japan, Korea, UK, Germany, Australia, Jordan and Singapore.
