MARÍA REYES ARIAS

Born in Ordizia (Guipúzcoa), she is an actress, director and screenwriter. She has worked in films with directors such as Manuel Gómez Pereira, Mario Camus, Javier Aguirre, Antonio Giménez Rico, Juan Vicente Córdoba, Norberto López Amado, Manane Rodríguez and Alberto Morais, among others. Her first role as a director, where she also wrote the script, was on the short film “Una caja de botones” (2010) which has toured festivals in the five continents and has won many awards like Goya Award at best fiction short film. She has participated as a scriptwriter in several films directed by Juan Vicente Córdoba.

Synopsis:

Andrew, faced with not having the money to buy what his daughter Irene has asked the Reyes Magfos to bring her for Christmas, is forced to tell the truth about this tradition. This will mean an emotional journey for both.
