VIER CASTELLANOS (Javi Álvarez)
Javi Álvarez was a cultural reviewer in several important alternative medias like LaRepublicaCultural.es. He starts his career in cine directing an audiovisual video for the 18th Congress of the Spanish Communist Party. In 2011 and 2012 he follows his career as a short film director using the pseudonym Vier Castellanos. He wrote, directed and produced “Vida Parada” and “Despidiendo que es un gerundio”. With his second short film he has been nominated in Best Screenplay category in the 5th Certamen de Cortometrajes Express del Ateneo Cultural 1 de Mayo de CC.OO. He has been nominated for the Audience Award in the Festival Cortos con Ñ in november 2012.
