Javier de la Torre
I started out as a youngster in film from short films at school to my first truly satisfactory one called ‘Couleur Absente’ thanks to which i became known in the sector. Then came proposals as radical as ‘El grito de Munch’ or ‘Ya lloré lo que tenía que llorar’ or ‘Esos dos’. ¿Iguales? was a Little more mainstream. When it comes to feature films I directed ‘Cuídate de mí’ which never became what we had hoped. Cinematographically speaking I studied in what was known as the ‘cine-club’ culture, in the Paris 8 faculty, in the TAI and in Madrid’s Complutense. I am also one of the founders of ‘Microteatro Por Dinero’.
