ISABEL DE OCAMPO
Isabel de Ocampo is a producer, screenwriter and film director. With a degree in Imaging Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and Film Directing studies at the ECAM, she currently collaborates as the CEO of EWA. In 2009 she won the Goya Award for Best Fiction Short Film for “Miente” and years later she was also nominated for the Goya Award for the Best New Director for her film “Evelyn”. In 2014 “Piratas y libélulas” premiered; a documentary about the therapeutic power of theater in conflictive neighborhoods, which won a Jury Honorable Mention at the International Festival of Valladolid SEMINICI 2013. Currently she is immersed in the pre-production of “Dentro”, a documentary film about the construction of male identity.
